Mosaic church exists to bring glory to God as one family, with one faith, being on one mission.
Mosaic church is being established to be a place where the name of God is glorified. It is a place that wants to lift the name of God above the city of Brussels. As church we want to reflect Jesus Christ and live out the gospel. Our desire is that others may encounter Jesus Christ and may be added into the family.
We are to worship God. Not only on Sundays or other church events. We want the church to be a community full of people that love God, follow Jesus and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Our desire is that Mosaic Church is a place where you feel encouraged to deepen your relationship with God, our Father, where you are stimulated to follow Jesus daily and where you encounter the Holy Spirit.
As believers we are made brothers and sisters. No matter age, background, culture or story. We love to see the church function as a family. We are to share our lives with one another, by which we can reflect Jesus, His love and grace towards us. That means we care for one another.
We believe in the one true God, existing in three distinct persons in unity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Father, almighty, creator of Heaven and Earth through the Son and by the power of the Holy Spirit. He created men and women in His image. Through the Fall, humanity has been corrupted, though the Father send His Son because of His love for us.
We believe in the Son, Jesus, born from the virgin through the power of the Holy spirit. He led a perfect life and died on the cross, atoning for our sins. Three days later He rose again and 40 days later, ascended into the heavens to sit at the right hand of the Father. Jesus shall come again and His eternal Kingdom shall reign.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, its power working in us to come to repentance, and lead us to live new lives of obedience to God.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers with the supernatural signs, empowering the Church.
We believe in the gifts of the Spirit for the building of the Church and ministry to the world.
We believe that justification and sanctification comes through repentance and enables faith in Christ alone.
We believe in the future resurrection of the saints at the return of the Son.
We believe that the Bible, including the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament, is the written word of God. The Scriptures are the authoritative guide for all Christian life, practice and beliefs (for the Church and the individual). The truthfulness of every statement of belief is dependent on whether on not it is in line with the teachings of Scripture. All believers are encouraged to study the Scriptures and apply them to their lives in obedience to God, who speaks through them with life-giving power.
We believe in the Church as the spiritual community of all believers (living and dead) given new life by the Holy Spirit and in unity under Christ as head of His Church.
We believe that each believer has a mission to “go and make disciples”.
